Launched in 2014, the Girls Dignity Program aims to empower young girls by addressing a key challenge they face: menstrual hygiene. The program provides to school girls with essential menstrual products, including sanitary pads and innerwear, helping them maintain their dignity and health during their menstrual cycles. By ensuring that girls have access to these resources, the program enables them to attend school regularly without fear or embarrassment, thus promoting continuous education.

In addition to material support, the Girls Dignity Program offers mentorship and education on menstrual hygiene and health. The goal is to not only provide immediate support but also to foster a long-term understanding of reproductive health, helping to dismantle the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Mentorship

Provides mentorship and care packages, including sanitary towels, to address menstrual hygiene management, ensuring girls can attend school with dignity and confidence, thereby reducing absenteeism and dropout rates.

Boys Included

The program also includes boys by providing them with boxers, which serves as a gesture of inclusion and understanding in the broader conversation about adolescent health.

Currently, 700 school girls are beneficiaries.
